Paul found the world to be a marvelous place with all sorts of fascinating options and possibilities.

He trained as an electrical engineer. Over time, he became a supervising project director for a company that built major petrochemical and pharmaceutical plants across the United States and abroad.

As a young teenager, he was an enthusiastic bicycle rider, taking the Brooklyn ferry to Staten Island 52 Sundays a year, where he and other enthusiasts would ride a complete loop around the island. Several years on, pre-sputnik, he and a group of friends built solid fuel rockets to launch first day covers, which were sold to stamp collectors. Decades later, he and a friend built cars with which they could road rally in Connecticut.

Paul found computers to be fascinating, beginning back with the Radio Shack TRS80 and continuing up to now.

Woodworking, both practical—cutting and splitting firewood using trees on his New Jersey property—and ornamental—a black walnut fireplace surround, also from home place lumber.

Paul leaves behind his wife of 64 years, Judith Glattstein; a daughter, Mira Dessy; a son, Seth Glattstein; five grandchildren; and one great-grandson. He will be deeply missed by family and friends.

I remember Paul as a kind, intelligent companion to longtime friend Judy. He was always thoughtful when asked for help and you knew he always gave his best in answer to your request. Please accept my sincere consolation for such a deep loss, Judy and family. Lillie

Paul was a distinguished member of the Hunterdon Computer Club. He volunteered for many roles such as finance, newsletters, membership and was the first Web Master in 1997. Paul also had a knack for giving excellent presentations that were well received by everyone at the club, including Cut the Cable, A Dozen QR Codes, SugarSync and 2010 Apple iPad. When the pandemic ended the HCC in person meetings, Paul joined the Talking Tech weekly Zoom meetings and had insights into the topics discussed.

Hello Judy, I remember Paul when I visited you in 1982 and I always found him a very kind and quite man and a very good husband. We talked a lot on different subjects and I helped him bring firewood into your Connecticut home what was very nice to do. My sincere condolences and I can very well understand that your life is changing after being together so long in such a good marriage. I did not know Paul Glattstein, except through his son, Seth, who made his dad seem Ike a fascinating guy. If the obituary didn't confirm that, the tribute by his friend, Winston Chee does! The world is certainly less interesting with Paul's passing. Our deepest condolence

I have known Paul 70 years; we met as teenagers through the rocket club in the late 1950's. I remember a trip to take Paul to college in Indiana. He was driving his farther's Electra passing a semi on the Pennsylvania Turn Pike at 100mph. A state trooper was just in front of the semi as we shot by. He ended up in Kangaroo court. The Judge asked Paul, "how much money do you have?" He fined Paul that amount. I have many other fond memories of Paul; like when we worked together to finished the attic of his Brooklyn home. He has been my best friend and I will miss him dearly.
