In loving memory of Linda L Woods

Linda was born 6-24-69 and passed away peacefully on 4-3-26 at Christiana Hospital in DE. Linda was simply known for her sense of humor and her dedication to her family, which she loved. Linda was a high school graduate from Kennett High School. From there married the love of her life, Jerry Woods. Together spent 37 years of pure love and happiness. Their love never wavered. Linda worked at Tommy tinkers daycare for many years before leaving and becoming a caretaker to her sister, Alice. She is survived by her oldest brother James Eldreth of Coatesville sister-in-law Janice of Coatesville, Younger brother Jerry Eldreth his wife Wendy of Quarryville, PA. A brother-in-law George W Hudson of Nottingham, PA. She was a beloved Aunt to many, Lisa, Becky, Glenda, Roger, Laura, Jerry, Chrissy, Ashley, and many more. She was preceded by her sister Janet S Hudson of Kennett Square (06) her mother Winnie L Maines Eldreth (2018) her father James Roger Eldreth (2024) her sister Alice L Eldreth (2026)

Linda had a lifelong love for adventure, going to the beach, spending time with family, and mostly cherishing her life and joy with her husband. Lived life to the fullest, never had regrets. She loved playing card games and going yard sale-ing.

Linda will forever be remembered as a devoted wife, loving sister, great Aunt, and amazing friend. Although she was called home to be with the Lord. We will always cherish the love and memories we got to share. Now she'll be watching over us from above. Until we meet again we live and miss you. RIP

It feels like a wave hit me, shocked that you are gone now, its like we got slapped in the face with it, when we were told you were doing better, then april 3rd 2026 around 930ish we get a call that aunt Linda died same as elizabeth birthday, we came to see her in hospital we shared tears and laughs and smiles. Aunt linda was the closets i was to anyone on my mother's side. Her and I are like 1 in the same. Both the youngest, both did so much for everyone else and hardly got it back, I just dont understand why you had to leave so soon! I miss talking to you and texting you , your like the only one in the family that would call to see how ur niece and my kids were doing and just have conversations about anything. I still catch myself about to send you text or funny memes and then im like I cant shes no longer here. . You will be missed tell your mom dad and sisters I miss them all and love you all so much. You maybe gone but you will never be forgotten in my heart.

Words can't describe how much I miss you. You were the glue that held the family together for many years. I will always cherish the fun memories we shared from yard saleing, going to breakfast with pop pop, and playing uno. I just hope you understand how much you truly meant to us and we will never forget you. You can finally rest and be at peace. Your reunited with you mom, dad, and both sisters as you continue to watch over us. Rest in peace, Aunt Linda. Until we see other again.
