Obituary

Leslie L. Horn, 49, of Whitehall, passed away on August 8, 2026, surrounded by her loving family after a brave battle with cancer.

Leslie's life was a testament to the power of resilience. She faced life's greatest challenges, including a long and deeply personal battle that she ultimately overcame, with great courage. Her ability to transform her life was an inspiration to all who knew her.

Just as she was embracing this new chapter, she was confronted with a cancer diagnosis. She fought this final battle with the same fierce bravery, and strength, that defined her recovery.

Leslie loved animals, especially her cats, Rocket, Turbo, Shadow, Missy Moo, and Midnight. She shared her "fur babies " with her best friend, Jeni, who was a devoted friend to her for many years.

Throughout her life, Leslie cared for many dogs and, more recently, cats, all of which brought her immense joy and happiness.

She loved music, good food, playing bingo, and spending time with her family and friends.

Leslie is survived by her mother, Roberta Horn; her sister, Lisa Lance, wife of Michael; and her nieces, Gabrielle and Jenna. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Erma Applegate (6.8.96) and is now reunited with her in eternal peace.

No public services are scheduled. A private celebration of life will be held by the family.

Those wishing to honor Leslie's life, and memory, may make a donation to the pet rescue organization of their choice, the .Gallbladder Cancer Foundation, or the American Cancer Society.

I send my Deepest Condolences to the Horn family, Leslie was someone I knew in my childhood to plead ultrasound years, she was a true friend, a fighter for sure and no matter what, always had my back, our friendship was the best, she helped me in ways I will never forget and always no matter what she went thru, Always had the most respect for, she was loyal and when she had something to say, she never held back, it kills me to hear she passed and it hurts that we lost touch, I'm so happy she had such a loving family, who were with her thru her battles, seeing her obituary kills me, but now I know she is no longer suffering and is at peace, Sleep in Paradise Leslie, I'll always love you and m8ss you till we see eachother again!
