Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Judith Wessel. Judith was born on September 27, 1956, and left us too soon on August 7, 2026.

Judith was a loving wife, an extraordinary mother, a doting grandmother, and a dear cousin. She is survived by her husband, Bruce Wessel, her children, Sarah Nastri and Richard Wessel, her son-in-law, Justin Nastri, her daughter-in-law, Kristina Wessel, and her treasured grandchildren, Peyton Wessel, Ryan Nastri, and Elena Nastri. She also leaves behind her dear cousin, Jolene Donlan. Judith is predeceased by her parents, Sarah and Francis Mack as well as her brother Frank Mack.

Throughout her life, Judith found simple joys in the comforts of home and family. Her favorite dishes were Chicken Parmesan, Sweet & Sour Chicken with Fried Rice, and Beef Stew – a testament to her love for hearty and comforting meals. In her downtime, you could find her tuning in to her favorite TV shows, among them Reba, Big Bang Theory, and Days of our Lives. Judith was also a keen player of Bingo, relishing in the camaraderie and joy that the game brought.

Judith loved the color purple, a hue that reflected her regal and loving nature. She enjoyed vacations to Wildwood Crest, NJ, where she found peace in the serene setting. Above all, Judith's greatest accomplishment and source of pride were her children, a testament to her unwavering love and dedication as a mother.

Judith's passing leaves an unfillable void in the hearts of many, yet her memory lives on in the hearts and stories of those who loved her. An exceptional woman of grace and patience, Judith will be greatly missed, but her legacy will continue to inspire those who knew her. Rest in peace, Judith - you will never be forgotten.
