Obituary

It is with great sadness and sorrow to tell you that Judy has passed away. After being hospitalized briefly unexpectantly, Judy was able to spend her last days at home surrounded by her loved ones, both friends and family. A graduate of Philadelphia Girls High, she went on to Villanova University where she graduated with a BS in Nursing. Judy worked in the HUP ER for years before spending time at Sacred Heart in Chester, PA. She later switched career paths and worked at Horizon BCBS of NJ. Judy spent her life doing her best to enrich the lives of all with whom she had contact. Judy loved animals, attested by the 5 Siberian Huskies she cared for over the years. She was an avid gardener, waiting for each spring to tend her flower and vegetable gardens. In her memory, we ask that you donate to your local SPCA or plant a tree. Maybe start your own garden. Just find something you enjoy to do that also benefits other.

In Lieu of Flowers

If you can, please donate to the ASPCA.

My heartfelt condolences to Judy's family, coworkers and friends. Judy was a wonderful person to work and she will be missed. The Bible assures a hope we can look forward to, Revelation 21:4 says "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. Soon we will see all of our loved ones again.

Judy was a loving aunt, dedicated nurse, and a kind and generous person whose kindness touched our family deeply. I am appreciative that our families came together and created the memories we have today. We are grateful for the love and care she shared with us, and her legacy will live on in the many lives she touched. May God comfort her surviving siblings and surround them with peace and joyful memories. 🙏🏽🌻

My heartfelt condolences to Judy’s family, friends, and colleagues. I valued working with her, even virtually. Judy generously shared her knowledge and taught me so many things during the time we worked together, and I will always be grateful for that. She was a dedicated nurse with a strong personality, and I liked and respected her very much. Judy will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in peace.

I will miss Judy so much, probably more than I can put into words. I am so sorry for your loss, Judy truly was one of a kind. Take comfort in knowing that she touched so many people at work and left a positive impact on so many on her team and department. She has taught me so much about work and life. She always made me think, and I am a better person because of her caring heart. I will miss everything about her. May she rest in peace.

Ours was a friendship and a bond forged many years ago as we started our journey together in nursing school. We shared many happy memories and milestones and I always understood that Judy would be there for me no matter how much time passed. . . I love you and I will miss you always my dear friend.
