Damon L. Jacobs

With deep love and sorrow, we announce the passing of Damon L. Jacobs, a devoted father, cherished grandfather, and beloved brother and friend, who passed away on May 22, 2026. Damon was born on March 14, 1969 in Staten Island. He lived a life centered on love, family, hard work, and kindness. He was known for his strength, wisdom, sense of humor, and the unconditional love he gave to those around him.

As a father, he provided guidance, support, and endless care to his children. As a grandfather, he created treasured memories filled with laughter, stories, warmth, and love that his grandchildren will carry forever. His family was his greatest pride and joy. He will be deeply missed by his children, grandchildren, extended family, and many friends whose lives were touched by his generosity and compassion.

Damon is survived by his son's Jeremy and Devin Rivera, grandchildren; Madison, Kayleigh, and Jeremy (Poppa), his siblings; Dawn Rankin, Sammie Jacobs, Anthony Williams, Darren Keith Shephard, Emmett Jacobs, Jerome Jacobs, Keith Jacobs, Kerric Adrian Smith, Barry Smith Jacobs, Damine Reyes, kia Jacobs, Sontique Jacobs and preceded by his parents; Joyce Ward and Samuel Jacobs Jr.

Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort knowing his love and legacy will live on through all who knew him.

A service to honor and celebrate his life will be held on June 1, 2026 from 4-9pm at 747 Forest Ave Staten Island, NY 10310

My condolences to the family. I’ve watched you on your come up ever since you was a youngster. I’d always saw something special about you. Especially when you showed interest in learning new things.
