Ruth Constance Miller
Date of Death: March 18, 2021
My sister did not want to be “memorialized” as is common after someone passes. Ruth felt that she had done nothing memorable. That is far from the truth! Anyone who knew her will not forget her. Your comments and words of comfort are proof of this: a blessing; gentle soul; special lady; kind heart, all-heart, special Christian lady, a kind and loving soul, interesting and interested in others, an amazing woman! I would add that she was accepting, non-judgmental, an animal advocate, a crackerjack transcriptionist, and crossword wiz! She hated buttons (we don’t know why) and loved sporks(?)! DK (her family nickname) had a mind of her own - and a clever, creative mind it was! A bit quirky and honest to a fault, she once left a note on a garbage can she backed her car into - the owner called and laughingly told her that old can had been banged up for years! Above all, she was a one-of-kind, doting daughter, sister, aunt, great-aunt, friend, and cat mom! The world was a better place with Ruth in it and we were blessed to have her in our lives. Now she would want all of us to keep on doing what we can to influence and enrich the lives we still can touch. A committed Christian, she was steadfast to the end, believing that her Heavenly Father was waiting for her with open arms.
