James Anthony Vehar Jr, known as “Chip” passed away on December 17, 2020 at 57 years old. Chip was survived by his brother Jason Vehar, sister, Jamie Vehar, ex wife, Emina "Emma" Vehar and best childhood friends Milton Mantalis, Ralph Reda, Ross Jicomelli, Gary Burnside , other dear friends and colleagues. Chip grew up in Canonsburg, a suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He attended the University of Pittsburg and then served in the military for twenty five years earning the rank of Master Sergeant. While in the military, he worked as Air Traffic Specialist Watch Supervisor. He was proud of his military successes and service. Upon military retirement, he continued his career as a contractor with the FAA Tech Center, Pomona, New Jersey as a subject matter expert. Chip was a huge fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Live music. On his free time, he enjoyed attending concerts with loved ones and friends which became an annual tradition. Chip will always be our blue sky and sunny day, long may you run Chipper, you will be missed.
