Date of Death: April 23, 2020
Christina Louis, 65, passed away on the 23rd of April, 2020, in Brooklyn, NY with her daughter at her side. She was born to the late Tisson "Appa" Charlery and the late RoseAnna "Amma" Louis in Micoud, St. Lucia on the 3rd of September, 1954. Christina was a lifelong Caregiver. Affectionately known as "Aunty" by many, she had a smile that could light up any room. She was warm, funny and loving. She enjoyed traveling, country music, art museums, live shows, action movies (anything with Jason Statham) and playing "patience" aka Solitaire. She loved her friends and her family very much. As many of you know, Christina died from complications due to Covid-19. This sudden illness and untimely death has been devastating to her family. She is survived by her 3 children; daughter, Natasha and sons, Marcus and Kent. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, Mya, Petal, Aliyah, Brianna, Mekhi plus 1 grandfish (yes she counted Fishy!). She also leaves behind her sisters- Verona, Philomene, and Catherine; her brother McLean, several nieces and nephews as well as her Goddaughters, Irene and Yasmin. She is predeceased by her parents and brothers Benny, Galbert, and Vincent. At her request, Christina was cremated. A memorial service will be held later on this year and her children will provide details at a later date.
